Officially multilingual

Stuart, the chef, asked me to translate 'We speak English' into the official languages of South Africa.  Very funny I thought, this after all is the chef whose bakery ran a number of Robert Mugabe specials. Well we didn't help him, but he did help himself and shared this with us with great mirth.  So I guess that is what they call following the letter of the law, we're multilingual enough to tell you that we'll only help you in English.

  1. We speak English
  2. Ons praat engels
  3. Se khuluma isi lingu
  4. Sithetha isi lungu
  5. Re bolela sekgowa
  6. Ne bolabola se'lungu
  7. Re bua seja thlapi
  8. Tinotaura Chirungu
  9. Re bua sekgowa
  10. Re bua senhesemane

There is one missing and corrections gladely accepted.
I've published the list as I think this might be useful for some coporates and government departments who haven't quite made it into the multilingual world.  Now how could we change this into a road sign to warn people who are about multilingualism to take their business elsewhere?
