This Tectonic article explores the South African keyboard that has been developed by Translate.org.za. Read our keyboard users guide and install it on your computer.

The keyboard is designed to cover all South African languages. It includes mappings for Venda, Northern Sotho and Afrikaans. The downloads are for Windows user. The keyboard layout was recently included in Linux and should begin appearing in your favourite distribution shortly.

The keyboard is licensed under the GNU GPL. Commercial vendors/OEM's can contact us for other licensing options.
