Translate.org.za has collaborated with Jason Githeko to produce the first
Kiswahili spell checker. The team was able to marry the development skills
Dwayne Bailey from the Translate project with the word list built by Githeko.
In less than a day the first version was produced.
Download and follow these
installation instructions (note that
Kiswahili is not
a registered language in OpenOffice.org, you will have to choose another
language and country such as it_IT - Italian Italy - to be able to work with
the dictionary). |
