Translate.org.za was privileged to participate in the AsiaSource event in Bangalore, India. During the time there Dwayne Bailey was part of a team of localisers running a localisation track for the event. Participants on the localisation track hailed from countries such as Nepal, Indian, Bangladesh, East Timor and many other countries. They learnt about fonts, keyboard mappings, input methods, translation strategies, techniques and tool. Lots of information in the space of 6 days of training.

Participants were also exposed to Pootle the web-based translation tool that Translate.org.za is helping to develop.
