Announcements

Our announcement list will keep you up to date with the latest happenings at Translate.org.za, such as releases of new software, Translate@thons, news, newsletters, radio and TV interviews and much more. We keep the traffic volume on the list low (some would say too low), because we are all busy people.

We will not announce other peoples products or services on this list. But if we see that they are very relevant to language and especially South African languages then we may make such announcements. We do not give your address to anyone, ever.

So to stay up to date why not Subscribe now to the low-volume announcement list. You can also look at previous postings to this list in the Archive.

The Afrikaans list is a good example. Many language issues are discussed in Afrikaans. Technical issue or ideas for new projects are usually introduced in English but people are free to reply in the language they choose although most people will reply in the language of the discussion.
