Independent journalist Frederick Noronha blogged his way through the Asia Source open source developer workshop held in India earlier this year. Now he has collected all his writings over the entire workshop and released them as a small book which offers a fascinating insight into the state of open source software, not only in Asia but throughout the world. With open source developers from around the world attending the event the booklet covers a broad range of topics from Croatia to Ubuntu and from blogs to Pakistan. Even South Africa gets a chapter with an interview with Dwayne Bailey of Translate.org.za project.
