The second annual SANGONeT conference and exibition entitle 'ICTs for Civil Society' was held at the Indaba Hotel, Johannesburg from 7-9 March 2006.

Dwayne participated in the plenary on day 2: 'Open Source - Opportunites and Implications for Civil Society'.  Interestingly enough Microsoft participated in this panel discussion.  This gave Open Source some credibility, but we're still not sure what Microsoft has to do with Civil Society or Open Source.
