November 2006 newsletter

The November newsletter is out. In this edition we look at how much money South Africa spends on proprietary software in an article entitled "Africa builds overseas IT industry".  We thought that numbers like R48 billion ($6,6 billion) might shock you as much as it has shocked us here at Translate.org.za.

We introduce you to the WordForge Foundation, which strives to help Digitally Endangered Languages to localise software.  We meet Dwayne Bailey who started Translate.org.za, and lastly we examine the language Sesotho sa Leboa.
