Kickstarting Firefox in Luganda
In August 2008 a team from Translate.org.za and Rhodes University visited Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. We talked about localisation and had a translate@thon to translate big parts of Firefox 3 into Luganda - the biggest local language of Uganda. We hope that people at the event will continue with the efforts to improve the translations. Those interested in a provisional language pack, can download it. Note that you need to have Firefox 3.0 already installed.
